Get a New Bot From @BotFather
Creat a bot In the Telegram search bar, type “BotFather” and select the official account.
- Send the command /newbot to BotFather.
- Follow the prompts to choose a display name for your bot.
- Next, assign a unique username that must end with “bot” (for example, MySecureBot).
- Once the bot is created, BotFather will provide you with an API token.
- Important: Save this token securely; it is required for binding your bot with Echo and must remain confidential.
Send Your Bot Token to OnlyTG Echo @Echoonbot
The bot you just created doesn’t have any built-in features. Therefore, you need to activate it with a reliable third-party service. We recommend OnlyTG Echo—it can help you switch your bot to a powerful chatbot with many useful chat-based features.
- In Telegram, search for “@EchoOnBot” and open its chat window.
- Send the command /start to OnlyTG Echo and click Add Bot button.
- When prompted, paste the API token you received from BotFather.
- Once Echo validates your token, you will receive a confirmation message indicating successful binding.
- Your personal bot is now configured to receive and forward messages securely.
How Does Your Bot Relay Messages?
Message Forwarding By default, message forwarding is in Single Mode, we recommend you change to Topic Mode. Single Mode:
- When any user sends a private message to your bot, OnlyTG Echo automatically forwards the message to you.
- When you reply to a forwarded message, OnlyTG Echo ensures that your response is sent back to the original sender.
Topic Mode
- The bot will relay messages between users and a corresponding group topic, Each topic corresponds to a user.
- All Group members can send to user directly without needing to reply the message.
